Overview
A total station is a type of electronic/optical instrument used in surveying and construction. It is a combination of an electronic theodolite (transit) and an electronic distance meter (EDM). The total station is used to measure both vertical and horizontal angles and distances, and it can be used to make highly accurate measurements of points, lines, and areas. It is commonly used in land surveying, civil engineering, and construction applications.

Benefits of Service
In land surveying, total stations are used to measure and calculate property boundaries, elevations, and topography. They can also be used to create detailed maps and 3D models of the surveyed area.
Additionally, total stations can also be used in construction to layout a building foundation, check alignment and elevations of various structure, and as-built verification.
